October is when tourism really picks up in Asuncion mostly due to
the excellent fishing this time of year. The weather is excellent, water temps have warmed back up into the 70′s and the visibility is good which makes for a wide open yellowtail bite as well as great shore fishing for halibut, corvina and croaker…. check the Fishing page here for pics of this weeks catch.
Plus lots of tourists are heading south now that the summer heat is abating. This week we have a great group of Vagabundos del Mar at Campo Sirena who are enjoying fishing, touring around and eating lots of local seafood.
